Ma..I'm gonna be a star!

I don't get around to posting too much on this blog and for what reasons I could not tell ya. I forget, I get too busy to get on the computer for MY stuff, I think people really don't wanna hear about my highs and lows every single day or maybe that I think my accomplishments aren't THAT great.

Well apparently they are.

My surgeon's office called to tell me I was 1 out of 15 that was picked as a successful patient and they would like me to be a model in their annual fashion show fundraiser. What tha? Moi? Miss trouble since you opened me up and still spiraling down some days? Miss I forgot to take my calcium for oh..hmm..a YEAR??? Miss Stall of the year which lasted 2 months???

Oh yeah..that would be me!


Hell to the yeah I'll do it! I totally deserve it. I was flattered that they considered me a success because sometimes I don't feel like one. Yes I've lost over 100 lbs but the numbers aren't what measures success. I feel I failed in other areas of the surgery. So it was odd to hear they wanted me.


But I get to go get fitted for 3 outfits, business, casual and evening wear and get my hair and makeup done! Woot woot! I have a whole clan lined up to see me that night. They BLOW up a before picture..help me Lord and ramble off a personal story while you strut your stuff.


It's a nice way to start the year in my eyes.

I get to be a STAR!!

I never really post any pics of myself anymore. I actually fill my memory cards up with me now! LOL! Never before would you have this many shots of me on one card.
